Highly Efficient PANI-WH Novel Composite for Remediation of Ni(II), Pb(II), and Cu(II) From Wastewater

The present study comprises the synthesis of a novel composite polyaniline-wheat husk (PANI-WH) and adsorption heavy metals (Cu, Pb, Ni) by using this composite. Characterizations such as SEM were used to check chemical composition, state (XPS), crystallographic nature (XRD), functional groups (FT-IR) before after metals. results indicate that performance PANI-WH (on metals) is good with excellent binding capacity 155 mg g −1 for Ni, 95 Cu, 110 Pb. shows maximum at optimum conditions. remediation was observed up 99% also involves kinetic, thermodynamic, isotherm studies, showing increased material in work comes from industrial/agricultural by-products which provide twofold benefit not only providing means treating water but an effective method utilization these by-products, otherwise form additional waste stream. stability reusability.
